Phillip R. Gunsul, 58, of Montgomery passed away Friday, November 11, 2005 at Kindred Hospital in Sycamore, IL. He was born on February 15, 1947 in Aurora to Richard and Helen (Tiffany) Gunsul.\r\nPhillip retired from Lucent Technologies as an Electronic Engineer. He attended Oswego Presbyterian Church, he volunteered for the Kendall County Historical Society, he enjoyed genealogy research, he was a Ham Radio operator and his call sign was WB9AAX. he was a member of the N.C.R.S. and the Fox Valley Corvette Club. Phillip served his country proudly as a member of the United States Army.\r\nHe is survived by his wife of 31 years, Linda M. Gunsul of Montgomery; his son, Paul (Jane) Gunsul of Huntley; his brother, David Gunsul of olive Branch, MS; his sister, Joyce Siversten of Aurora; and nephew, David Gunsul of Plano.\r\nHe was preceded in death by his parents.\r\nFuneral Services will begin at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 15, 2005 at the Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway in Montgomery. Pastor Leon Alberts of the Oswego Presbyterian Church will officiate. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Montgomery.
